Wolverhampton Cemetery

The cemetery is situated in Jeffcock Road near to Bantock Park. The cemetery contains war graves for both world wars. There are 113 First World war graves scattered around the cemetery. In the centre is a Cross of Sacrifice.

On the Cross are inscribed the words " To The Honoured Memory Of The Sailors And Soldiers Who Gave Their Lives For Their Country In The Great War 1914-1918 And Lie Buried In This Cemetery."

During the early months of the Second World War a plot was set aside for the burial of servicemen, there are 59 burials within the cemetery. There are also 25 War graves of other nationalities including Dutch and Polish.
