Peter was born 5th October 1916 in Wolverhampton son of Maj. Charles Edgar Dodd and Elizabeth Ida Dodd, he had a brother and a sister Bridget Isobel Dodd (b1919) Anthony Neil Dodd (b1921). His mother died 2nd March 1931. Peter left to his father in his will £1165 15 shillings and 3 pence.
Peter died 13th April 1943 aged 26 at Oflag VII-B Eichstätt, Bavaria, a prisoner of war camp for officers.
